I had a positive experience staying at Charlroy Motel. The location is fantastic, being directly across from the beach, which was perfect for my work-related visits. The cleanliness of the facilities is noteworthy, and the staff, particularly the housekeeper, was exceptionally friendly and diligent. Additionally, the pool area was well-maintained, providing a pleasant space to unwind after a long day of work.

The pool area offers a refreshing escape, and the picnic table out front is perfect for a casual meal. The location puts you just across from the beach, making it easy to enjoy the sun and surf.

Several issues detracted from the experience, starting with the outdated air conditioning that becomes noisy and disruptive after about 15 minutes. The bathrooms felt cramped, and the shower had poor drainage, leading to water pooling. Parking was a hassle, with tight spaces and a concrete block hindering access. Empty shampoo containers and limited towels added to the inconvenience. Overall, this place has potential, but it really needs some TLC.
